A U.S. HORSTMANN MODEL 1872 CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD WITH AN ETCHED BLADE IN FINE CONDITION! A U.S. HORSTMANN MODEL 1872 CALVARY OFFICERS SWORD WITH AN ETCHED BLADE IN FINE CONDITION. ALL ORIGINAL & COMPLETE. THE SWORD HAS A FINE BLADE & IS HORSTMANN, PHILADELPHIA MARKED ON THE RICASSO. IT HAS FINE ETCHING ON BOTH SIDES WHICH INCLUDES A U.S., AN AMERICAN EAGLE, AND FINE SCROLL WORK. THE BLADE RETAINS LOTS OF ORIGINAL FROSTING. THE BRASS GUARD IS FINE THROUGHOUT WITH AN EAGLE & STARS ON IT. THE POMMEL HAS AN AMERICAH SHIELD ON IT. THE ENTIRE GUARD RETAINS LOTS OF GOLD GILT. THE SCABBARD IS ALSO FINE & RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL NICKEL FINISH. THE FITTINGS & DRAG ARE ALSO FINE. THIS IS A VERY FINE LOOKING EXAMPLE OF A U.S. MODEL 1872 HORSTMANN MADE CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD!

A LATE 1700'S TO VERY EARLY 1800'S ALL IRON POMMEL OFFICERS SWORD IN UNTOUCHED CONDITION! A LATE 1700'S TO VERY EARLY 1800'S ALL IRON POMMEL OFFICERS SWORD IN UNTOUCHED CONDITION. ALL ORIGINAL THROUGHOUT. THE SWORD HAS AN UNTOUCHED BLADE, GUARD, & POMMEL ALL WITH LIGHT NATURAL PEPPERING ON THEM. THIS PEPPERING ACTUALLY HAS A NICE LOOK TO IT AS IT IS NOT HEAVY AND IS VERY EVEN. THE FLUTED GRIP IS VERY FINE & IS ALSO UNTOUCHED. THE ENTIRE SWORD IS 33 INCHES LONG & THE BLADE IS 27 1/2 INCHES IN LENGTH. THERE IS NO SCABBARD. THIS IS A VERY GOOD LOOKING & VERY EARLY OFFICERS SWORD WITH A WONDERFUL UNTOUCHED LOOK TO IT!

VERY EARLY 1800'S SCARCE U.S. EAGLE HEAD OFFICERS SWORD WITH OVAL EAGLE LANGET ON THE GUARD! A Very Early & Desireable Early 1800's War Of 1812 Brass Eagle Head Sword With Oval Eagle Langet On The Guard In Nice Untouched Condition! The sword has a nice untouched blade throughout. The brass guard is fine & has the rare oval langet on it with an "Eagle & E PLURIBUS UNUM" inside. This is very difficult to find. The Eagle Head Pomel is a very unusual type & is also scarce to find. The early grip is nice with a small chip in the bottom of one corner. The brass scabbard has nice fittings & is fine with only a couple of minor dents towards the bottom. This Is A Very Difficult To Find Early 1800's Eagle Head Officers Sword In Untouched Condition!
