RARE COLT 1861 NAVY CONVERSION HOLSTER WITH ORIGINAL LOOP BELT & KNIFE SHEATH SUPER! An Early & Scarce 1860's To 1870'S Colt 1861 Navy Conversion Holster Rig With Original Loop Belt & Studded Knife Sheath. The loop belt has its original iron buckle on it. The loops on the belt are .38 caliber which is correct for a Colt 1861 Conversion Navy Revolver. It is in nice untouched condition with pliable leather. The cartridge loops look like they have been re-stitched during the period. & there is an old repair on the belt strap. This Is A Very Fine And Untouched Early Colt Belt Rig With A Fantastic Look To It Especially With The Tacks On The Sheath. This Rig Looks Like It Has Always Been Together & Just Came Out Of An Old Estate!

The painting is signed "HATH, CAMP MEADE" and dated 1898. The painting is well done with nice colors & detail in it. The other side of the canteen has the #33 in two places, one of which is inside a white circle. The canteen has its original carrying strap which is broken off on one side. I believe the canteen is a Model 1874. This is a Wonderful and Unusual Painted Spanish American War Canteen.

EARLY MILITIA CIRCA 1810-1830 MUSKET CARTRIDGE BOX & BELT RIG! Early Scarce Militia Circa 1810-1830 Complete Musket Cartridge Box & Belt Rig in Nice Condition Throughout. All complete & original including the box with wood insert inside, belt, buckles, and over the shoulder cross straps. There are 24 holes in the insert for cartridges. There is a bayonet frog & part of a bayonet scabbard still on the belt. The box measures 8 1/4 inches wide, 3 1/2 inhes high & 2 1/2 inches deep. The holes inside the insert are 5/8 inch in diameter & 2 1/4 inches long. All of the early leather crossover straps are present & pliable as is the rest of the rig & box. The tab to tie the front flap on to on the bottom of the box is missing. This is a very Early & Complete Cartridge Box Rig to find Especially in this Nice Condition!
