I have taken photos of the photo with & without the matting & original frame. There are 15 officers on deck. The albumen image itself measures 8 1/2 inches by 6 1/8 inches not counting the matting around it. The image is very clear with lots of details. EARLY MILITIA CIRCA 1810-1830 MUSKET CARTRIDGE BOX & BELT RIG! Early Scarce Militia Circa 1810-1830 Complete Musket Cartridge Box & Belt Rig in Nice Condition Throughout. All complete & original including the box with wood insert inside, belt, buckles, and over the shoulder cross straps. There are 24 holes in the insert for cartridges. There is a bayonet frog & part of a bayonet scabbard still on the belt. The box measures 8 1/4 inches wide, 3 1/2 inhes high & 2 1/2 inches deep. The holes inside the insert are 5/8 inch in diameter & 2 1/4 inches long. All of the early leather crossover straps are present & pliable as is the rest of the rig & box. The tab to tie the front flap on to on the bottom of the box is missing. This is a very Early & Complete Cartridge Box Rig to find Especially in this Nice Condition!
